First thing my boyfriend said when seeing this blog post: “Your dress is wrinkled.” Yes, babe.. it is, but it’s also cute AF & how often do you see a blush pink velvet midi dress with cut-outs in all the right places? Banana Republic velvet FTW.

One fact about me, I don’t like layers. I never really have, just like I don’t like jeans, ya know? But, wearing this dress with nothing under it felt a little risqué for a summer afternoon. I decided to pair it with this cheap $5 tee & loved that it completely revamped the look, making it appropriate for a Sunday exploring Lido Marina. I also love, love, love these Target booties that I snagged recently. I have awkwardly skinny ankles which makes buying cute ankle boots a struggle, but I’m excited that sock booties are a new emerging trend. & look how cute this blue velvet pair is, &  this embellished pair! I am sad to see summer go, but a velvet dress like this beaut can easily be carried straight into Fall.
